The breakfast included freshly cooked items. It was well presented. I also enjoyed the location as I was attending a wedding next door.
The hotel car park was small. I had to pay for parking in the village car park. It cost £8.50 daily.

poor conditionrestaurant service
i was a bit disappointed with a few things . the service in the restaurant was not great at all. also, the mattress on the bed had a steel pen sticking through it!!! the overall condition of the room was quite poor, i must say. when i checked out, the receptionist didn't even ask how my stay had been.

breakfast was excellent. the room was very spacious. i had a comfy bed with crisp white linen. a private balcony overlooking the lake was a bonus to my room.
i understand that the pub and restaurant recently reopened after an extensive refurbishment but the smell of paint lingered in the air! the food was not great. i ordered the venison moussaka and the potatoes were undercooked. i noticed at least 5 plates of food being returned to the kitchen!
